At the heart of JA Manafaru’s commitment to unforgettable guest experiences is Imran, our dedicated Guest Experience Officer. As one of the key pillars of our team, Imran plays a vital role in shaping memorable moments for our guests, ensuring every interaction is personalised and seamless. Whether it's assisting with special requests or supporting our front office team, his warmth, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality never go unnoticed.
How long have you been working with JA Manafaru?
It’s been an absolute honour to be part of the JA Manafaru family since 4th September 2012, and I’m incredibly proud to say that over 12 amazing years have flown by.
What has been your memorable guest experience?
With extensive experience at JA Manafaru, my favourite moments come from going above and beyond to create memorable experiences for returning guests or VIPs. Whether it’s organising a private beach dinner, a customised excursion, or a thoughtful gesture for a returning guest, it’s all about making their stay unforgettable.
What has been the most significant improvement at work or in the workplace?
A significant improvement in my workplace has been my professional growth, evolving from Guest Service Agent to Guest Experience Officer. This reflects both my dedication and the resort’s commitment to nurturing talent. On a broader scale, improvements include advancements in guest service technology, enhanced sustainability practices, and better coordination of guest transfers and VIP experiences.
Why are you so passionate about JA Manafaru?
My passion for JA Manafaru stems from the rewarding nature of my work and the unique opportunities to create memorable guest experiences. After over 12 years with the resort, I’ve built strong connections with colleagues, guests, and the island itself. I’ve also grown professionally, advancing from Guest Service Agent to Guest Experience Officer, which reflects the resort's commitment to its team. Working at a luxury resort in the Maldives, where I can share my culture and create meaningful guest interactions, further fuels my enthusiasm and pride.
